VersaChalk Artist of the Month this May- @Fontness

Hello creative friends :) I'm Clairly, the fun-loving creative behind @fontness. I’m from the Netherlands but I also partly live in Germany. I speak English, German and a little French.

I’m very 'Font' of Lettering & Watercolor (see how I chose my account name ;)). My feed is full of all kinds of colorful creative things in the field of pens, inks & watercolor. 

Actually, I've always been creative. From an early age I have been blessed with a rich imagination. One of my favorite pastimes was drawing and writing on my large chalkboard (honestly true!). I also had very creative parents so always enough inspiration and time to craft!

I've always loved making homemade cards and pimping up my school diary (then buying a new one and starting from scratch ha ha). As I got older and got busy with work and well... Life, my artistic pursuits faded into the background. Until luckily I got the chance to rediscover my creativity and started my own Instagram account in 2016. It has been an amazing journey ever since. 

I love to explore and experiment with the many creative possibilities out there! I like to change material, color or medium! The variety ensures that I keep challenging myself creatively and it’s very exciting and stimulating! I've also discovered that I can do things that I didn't expect myself (like drawing ;))! But especially the friendships I've made in this community and the amazing collaborations with many other talented, kind artists around the world. I never thought it would be such an enrichment and I am very grateful for everything it has brought me so far!
